Frequently Asked Questions
How can I read articles?
Typically, you would start by reading the headline of the article. Then, if you are interested in it, you would use your eyes to continue to read all of the words on the page from left to right on each subsequent line of the article. You would then tell your friends about the article.
Do you have a subscription?
No, the Cloverdale Chronicle is freely accessible to all readers without any subscription or payment required.
In a sense. It's real in that it is news, because you haven't heard it before. The answer changes when you ask whether or not the news you're reading here has been made up. Regardless, the team at the Cloverdale Chronicle harbors no ill-will to any businesses or community members, and all our publications have been imagined in the interest of satirical good humor.

Can I submit a story?
Yes, we welcome community submissions and encourage local voices to share their stories. We are currently working on a 'voices of Cloverdale' newsletter that you can expect any day now. We have full-time jobs outside of this, so it may never get done.
No. We prefer a pen and some ink. Why would you ask a computer to make up a made-up story? Ludicrous. It would really make no sense. We only use AI to help us generate images when we are too lazy and we can't find one otherwise.
